A group music class for ages 0-4
Sound Beginnings is a family music class for children ages 0-4 and a parent or caregiver. By providing a solid music and preschool foundation, Sound Beginnings prepares students for success in Let’s Play Music and Kindergarten. Classes include singing, movement, instrument play, nursery rhymes, games, stories, and ear training activities.
Let’s Play Music
A group music class for ages 4-6
This three-year music program solves the problem that a child is most ready to learn music at an early age, but his fingers and letter skills are not ready until later. We take full advantage of the brain’s ability to absorb musical concepts and teach skills in an age appropriate way. Solfege hand signs, folk songs, games, imagination and creativity are important components of each lesson.
*Children enter the 3-year program between the ages of 4-6 years old.
Presto
A group music class for ages 7-12
Presto is the newest addition to our music classes at The MAC and we are super excited to bring this new piano lesson format to Meridian! Presto is a two-year beginning piano course for students age 7-12 that teaches all of the skills from Let’s Play Music. Because students are older and have more developed dexterity, we have added heavy emphasis on proper piano technique and repertoire.
Tavaci
A music theater experience for ages 4-11
Tavaci is a performing arts group committed to the growth and development of children. Qualified directors coach children in correct singing technique, music theory, theatrics, choreography, and performing skills through play. You and your child will LOVE your Tavaci experience!
