Let’s Play Music, Sound Beginnings, Presto, and Tavaci

Registration and Tuition Payments
When you register for a Let’s Play Music, Sound Beginnings, Presto, or Tavaci class, you are reserving a spot in that class and the registration fee is non-refundable. Tuition is payable by the semester and is due the first day of class. You may break tuition payments up into 4 monthly payments/semester. No refunds will be given on tuition. Enrollment in the Let’s Play Music and Presto programs purchase a spot in the full year of class. Enrollment in the Sound Beginnings and Tavaci program purchases a spot in the semester class. This means you are responsible for the payment of the full year (Let’s Play Music and Presto) or semester (Sound Beginnings and Tavaci) even if you miss lessons, take weeks off, or quit in the middle of the year. If you drop out at any time during the year, you agree to pay the remaining tuition installments. (Exceptions: loss of job, severe illness, moving.)

Art Classes

The MAC Music and Art Center reserves the right to accept or deny enrollment in any class, lecture or workshop by any applicant. Class sizes are limited and enrollment is a first come first served basis. We strive to provide the highest quality art classes with various media for all ages. We value your feedback. Refund Policy

Art Packages for ages 4-6, 6-10, 8-12, and 10-14: These are drop in classes, purchased individually or in a package. If you reserve a spot in a class, but do not show up, there will be no refund and your account will be charged. If you have reserved a spot and cancel more than 48 hours ahead of the scheduled class, you will not be charged for the class. In the event you would like a refund, you will be eligible to receive the unused portion of your purchase, less a $10 processing fee.  No refunds will be given more than 60 days after purchase. Please contact Art Package classes will expire May 29, 2019 and no refund will be given for unused art classes by this date.

Art Classes held on Thursdays: These classes are not drop in classes, but have set dates and times. If you need to cancel your class, you may do so up to 7 days before the start date of the class and receive a full refund. If you cancel 7 days-24 hours before the class begins, you will be issued a 50% refund. No refund will be issued after the class has begun.

Drop Off/Pick Up

Please do not drop off earlier than 10 minutes before a class starts, or pick your child up more than 10 minutes after a class has ended.  We are not set up as a daycare facility. The MAC reserves the right to charge $10 for every 10 minutes a child is dropped off too early or picked up late.

Inclement Weather
The MAC Music and Art Center is located in Meridian, Idaho and at times due to weather has found it necessary to cancel a class. If a class is canceled due to weather conditions and a student had a reservation, the reservation will be canceled and the class will not be charged to the student. You will be notified by email if a class is canceled. If students are unable to attend a reserved class due to weather conditions, the reservation will be canceled and the class will not be charged to the student.

The MAC Cancellation Policy
Occasionally The MAC Music and Art Center may have the need to cancel a class time because of low enrollment. If this is the case, a notification will be posted on the website and the class time will no longer be available for enrollment. Students will receive a 100% refund or be able to apply their funds to a different upcoming class.

Registration Agreement Policy
I understand and agree that when I register, I have obligated myself to pay for the courses and all other charges related to this registration. If registering by bank card, I authorize The MAC to charge my account the amount noted. If I decide to cancel my registration, I understand that the date I officially withdraw will determine the amount of refund, if any, I will receive.

Inappropriate Behavior
At The MAC we strive to maintain a clean, fun, and friendly learning environment for our students. In the unfortunate event that one of our patrons chooses to behave inappropriately in word or action towards other students, instructors, or the facility, the patron will be asked to leave and not return. No refunds will be given if a student is asked to leave because of inappropriate behavior. Photo Release
The MAC Music and Art Center classes and events are sometimes photographed for publicity purposes such as brochures, advertising, and other promotional material. Permission to be included in publicity is implied by enrollment. Please contact registration@themacmeridian in writing if you do not wish to be included in publicity.

Liability Release
WAIVER: As a participant, or parent or guardian of a participant, permission is granted to participate in The MAC Music and Art Center classes and events. I understand that some classes contain risks of physical injury to the participant(s). Considering all possible risks, on behalf of the participant(s) and myself, I voluntarily waive, release, discharge, and hold harmless The MAC Music and Art Center, its employees, supervisors, appointed officials, agents, representatives and volunteers from all claims for all injuries to participant(s), no matter how severe. Furthermore, I give consent for emergency medical treatment to the participant(s).
